Echo Says is a listening and self-control game. When Echo says "Echo says," your child does the move and taps the button. When she leaves it out, your child freezes and does not tap. Learning to stop, listen and then act is a skill children use every day, from waiting for a turn to following a teacher's directions. Along the way they learn body-part and action words, and they keep moving the whole time.

The glowing circle is where this robot left off. A star marks a finished level. Levels 1 to 10 teach the rule and get quicker. Freeze-dance rounds join at Level 11: dance while the music plays and freeze the moment it stops. From Level 16 your child taps the picture of the move Echo said, from Level 21 Echo's picture may not match her words, and from Level 26 she calls two moves in a row. From Level 31 "Robot says" tries to trick them, because only Echo counts. The levels never end.

Echo Says works on the honor system: there is no camera, so children do each move and then tap. Moving along is the whole point.
